KSU supports "Good Health and Well-being" through campaigns, events, and exhibitions that raise awareness about health and encourage healthy lifestyles  among its students and  community at large.

  1. The Medical City includes three major hospitals with ~1,800 beds.

KSUMC Sustainability Report 

KSUMC Achievements:

King Saud University Medical City: First Saudi Public Health Facility to Submit UN Sustainability Report

King Saud University Medical City Invitation to its Participating in " Global Health Exhibition 2024"

KSUMC signed in 2024 a memorandum of cooperation with "Takeda Pharmaceuticals" to exchange expertise in healthcare practitioner training, scientific research, and digital health solutions.

KSUMC participate in "Global Health Forum 2024"

His Excellency the Minister of Health, Eng. Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel, visited the KSUMC pavilion at the "Global Health Forum 2024", held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. His Excellency was briefed on the latest innovations and projects being showcased by the KSUMC, which aim to enhance the quality of healthcare and investment opportunities.

The first Digital Health Innovation Hackathon 2025 organized by KSUMC.

Launching the Innovation Lab 2024 "Health Volunteer Incubator" at KSUMC. 

The General Administration of Nursing Affairs organized the launch ceremony for accreditation for excellence in nursing care by The American Nurses Credentialing Center (MAGNET) 2024.

In 2024 a Medical Team from KSUMC and KAESC partnered with King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre in humanitarian medical relief efforts.

KSUMC Received two awards one for the Best Saudi Hospital of 2024 and the other for, Best Initiative for Facility Improvement and Building Management (Green Hospitals) awards at the "Healthcare Asia" Awards in Singapore 2024.

The cardiac catheterization team at the King Fahad Cardiac Center at KSUMC performed a successful transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) without surgery. The procedure was broadcast live at the invitation of the "GIS VALVES" conference in Dubai 2023.

In 2024 KSUMC Obtains Canadian accreditation for its fourth consecutive session

A medical team from KSUMC, led by Dr. Suha Kaaki, successfully performed a lobectomy to treat a cancerous tumor using "Robotic Segmentectomy of the Lung” in 2024.
